Operating system and hardware requirements for running the SoundID Reference software on your macOS or Windows computer, and on integrated devices.

Virtual Monitoring (Add-on)

 

Virtual Monitoring PRO

  • Operating system requirements as shown above.
  • One of the following product license options:
    • SoundID Reference product license (any license type) AND Virtual Monitoring PRO product license (Virtual Monitoring PRO will be a separate license key for existing Virtual Monitoring Add-on license owners who have upgraded to Virtual Monitoring PRO).
    • Combined "SoundID Reference + Virtual Monitoring PRO" license (includes both the SoundID Reference base license and the VM PRO license under a single activation key; also including the VM Add-on functionality): Virtual Monitoring | Pricing.
  • SoundID Binaural In-ear Microphone: included in all VM PRO products.
  • Any over-ear headphones (in-ear and on-ear headphones are not supported for VM PRO). 
  • Access to the room/setup (stereo) to be measured.
  • Sonarworks Supported Headphones or Sonarworks individually calibrated headphones.
    • Note: Sonarworks-supported/calibrated headphones are only required for the VM Add-on functionality (VM Add-on functionality is included in VM PRO).
