"Potential app conflict" error notification

If you are seeing a "SoundID error: Potential app conflict" error notification, this article provides steps for resolving this issue.

There is a known Android bug with the hi-res codec - LDAC and APTx, which appeared with a past Android 13 update. Some applications like SoundID that need to acquire the audio stream can encounter issues due to this bug.

To work around this error notification, try the following:

  1. Go to your phone Settings > Bluetooth
  2. Select your headphones
  3. Toggle LDAC and/or APTx HD codec off
  4. Relaunch SoundID, play some audio and check if the error notification is still present

Is there a fix to this yet? I'm on a Samsung galaxy ultra 25 and from I have been researching they don't even support ldac but I am still running into this issue.

I'm also seeing this on my S25 Ultra on a fresh install with no other EQ or sound processing apps enabled.
