same here new version does not load plugin but keeps saying 'sign in'. I keep going around in circles and its trying to charge me to use new voices when i already have a pepetual licence
After several hours of uninstalling and reinstalling and coming across old problems that popped up in the past such as ‘rate this program’ and register your program, etc., I finally got it working. I eventually came upon ‘activate’ on the site and was then told to download the voices and instruments again from the downloader, and the plugin finally says that I have a perpetual license and works as it should. I hope that holds tomorrow and into the future. I must say that I have had problems each time there was an update posted for this program. I like it and use it all the time but hate the down time when installing an update and the hours wasted trying to get it to work. Best of luck to you!

I have. hit “Activate” 25 times and I keep going around in circles. Please fix.

An update, also for those viewing this thread that encountered the same issue. It may be worth it to reboot your computer after updating to SoundID VoiceAI 2.5, as there were some changes in the licensing protocol. This should resolve it. Please respond here or in your ticket in case the issue persists.
Deactivating and reactivating the license from the user account may also resolve this. Thanks!
I restarted, with no effect on the issue. however I am reinstalling the update then will restart and report back.

I had the same problem, here is what worked for me. First, I logged into my account and deactivated my license. Second, I opened SoundID Download Manager and logged out. (When I opened it in the past and tried to login I would get a message that I couldn't connect, I pressed logout and nothing happened, so I closed it and went on to the next step) Third, I went back into my account in my browser and clicked Activate, it took me to the next page where I skipped to step 2 because I already had it downloaded and installed. Once I clicked Activate in step 2, it launched the SoundID Download Manager, I was able to login and install all the new updates. After that everything worked again, I was able to do that on two different computers, one with Windows 10 and one with Windows 11. Hopefully this will work for you too!

Good news — we’ve reproduced the issue in-house and identified the cause: a fault in SoundID Download Manager triggers the problem if the plugin or download manager app is open during the 2.5 update. A fix is planned for next week (Aug 18–22).
Meanwhile, you can avoid the issue simply by reactivating the software from your account while having both software modules fully closed. In some cases, reinstalling may be necessary, follow the steps outlined here: [MAC] SoundID VoiceaI 2.5 update issue: stuck in a login loop, or assets "missing or corrupted".

Great, thanks for the news about the fix! Doing as suggested above i still cannot use the app. License says activated when I load the ap into Logic i get the same Log in loop ad infinitum.
I have downloaded, reinstalled, restarted and logged at this point almost 50 times to no avail. will wait for fix.
Andre Marc are you absolutely sure you have fully quit both the DAW/plugin AND the SoundID Download Manager before clicking on Activate in the user account, as shown in the instructions?
Just to reiterate, the issue is present because the plugin and the app were open during the update, and activating from the account will work for a fix, but only as long as both the plugin and the download app are fully quit before licking on Activate. This has already been confirmed by several users in both this thread and individual support tickets, as well as in-house tests by our support, QA, and DEV teams.
If the issue is still present after reinstalling and completing the reactivation as shown above, please share a quick video of it (making sure to demonstrate that the plugin and the download app are fully closed during the process).
