Hello. For the last 3 years I used Reference 4 on my Mac (Ventura) in Logic Pro X with no problems. I use an UA Apollo Twin X as an interface. Now it does not work anymore - when I record and activate the „i“ (input signal) in Logic, a loud sonoric and clipping noise is heard. I checked everything (soft- and hardware) and nothing changed for the better. So I guessed - because Reference 4 is not supported anymore - I need to update.
So I got the trial version of Reference ID and installed it. The measuring went smooth and the Apollo is recognized in the software. But the Reference ID is not showing up in the Audio-/Midi settings of the Mac and also in Logic I can‘t choose it. The symbol of the software is greyed out and I have to restart the „core audio“ because it‘s not found.
I‘d like to update until March 23 - because of the spring sale - but of course I don’t want to spend money on something that doesn’t work.
