SoundID Download Manager stuck during the license verification

During the license activation process for the SoundID VoiceAI, the SoundID Download Manager will verify and confirm the successful license activation.

This process takes a minute to complete, but if you have noticed that the process is stuck or not responding, and you keep seeing the message: "Verifying your license. This may take a moment...", please follow the steps below:

  1. Fully close SoundID Download Manager by pressing Cmd + Q on Mac or Alt + F4 on Windows. 
  2. Go back to your Sonarworks Account.
  3. Under the SoundID VoiceAI license, click on the 'Activate' button one more time.
  4. Allow the browser to open the SoundID Download Manager.
  5. The verification process should now be completed, and you will see a success notification.

I had this problem also. None of the articles provided by Sonarworks to me solved the problem. Extremely frustrating. 

I decided to experiment. 

1. I cleared my system of the new version of SoundID VoiceAI. (2.6.0)

2. I downloaded and installed an older version of SoundID VoiceAI. (2.1.7)

3. I logged into my account and activated the license (not in Logic) and it worked.

4. I then cleared my system of the older version of SoundID Voice AI. (2.1.7)

5. I then rebooted the system and installed version 2.6.0 again. 

6. I started Logic and everything worked.

I hope this can alleviate the frustration of anyone else who finds themselves in this interminable license activation failure loop.
