Does this mean that the speakers and the microphone must be all run from the “primary” unit?  So you can't use the AES on the Apollo x16 and use the Microphone Pre's on the x8p for measurements?

I am assuming you were able to measure using the Microphone inputs on the x4, and your speakers are on the x16?  How are you able to do that?  I have been beating my head in for 4 hours making this...
