At the moment, it is not possible to output SoundID Reference to the target device via Airplay or Chromecast. We'll take note of your feature request, though :)
Hi. I have the same requirement. I would like use speakers without having to have to run a connection across the room, so wifi seems a good idea to do that (using airplay connected to the speaker system, which include an amp…). Unfortunately the airplay streamer does not show in the output list, although it works with the mac sound output. Shouldn't be to difficult to connect to coreaudio ?
