New version resets settings for 6'th year in a row. Every time

I have been using Sonarworks software for speaker and headphone calibration since September 18, 2020.

After almost every update, I have to manually add all my output devices again, reload the saved calibration profiles for each device, and individually restore my preferred Safe Headroom settings.

After nearly six years of repeating this procedure, I am getting more than a little frustrated. Preserving user settings across updates is a basic requirement. Why is this still an issue?

My calibration files are still there, but the output devices and their associated settings disappear. Is there a permanent fix planned? Manually backing up configuration files should not be necessary for routine software updates.
