I connected my laptop to the sound system trough my soundcard (focusrite saffire 24 dsp) . Mini klinke (mini stereo) headphone out to the back of the saffire. Now when I change the soundid enable and dissable on the imac (main computer connected to my soundcard) nothing seems to happen. The sound is exactly the same. What did I do wrong or what routing I didn't do?
Can someone explain me whats happening please or what i'm doing wrong? My understanding is that the main mac, connected to the soundcard through firewire and running soundid is the one correcting the sound that the soundcard gets but somehow is not the case.
