Several plugins like melodyne, synchro arts have this same type of capture feature but they allow for multple separate captures on a single track without having to select dead space. so like select hook 1 section, capture, then move on to select hook 2 section, capture. very simple, it saves time instead of waiting for the entire song to play in in real time through unwanted parts. I bet it would make processing less intense on cpu. When I attempt this with Voice AI it replaces what I last captured. So I have to capture all at once. This is very time intensive and sucks for production work flow.
