Hi,
SoundID Reference standalone app does not output sound after waking my Macbook Pro M4 16 inch (Sequoia 15.7.3). This happens every single time i wake it, with every audio interface that i've owned. It also happens on my Macbook Air M1. Remarkably, when in macos system settings i choose my audio interface as an output device, it just works, so it does not seem to be the audio interface -→ macbook connection.
The workaround is to manually select the Macbook speakers as an output in the SoundID reference standalone app, and then switch back to the connected audio interface.
So what i've tried:
- the usual stuff like https://support.sonarworks.com/hc/en-us/sections/20338303294610-Standalone-app
- different macbooks
- different audio interfaces
At this point im pretty convinced that it is the software that has troubles with macos sleep/wake system.
Anyone else having this problem?

Do not hold your hopes up for this one, I have had this problem for 3 years now and no updates ever fixes it, in 2021 it actually did work but then they broke this with weird updates. I have to run sudo pkill -9 coreaudiod 5 times a day now after sleep. I have given up on a fix.
