I am mixing on a MacBook Pro with a 2.4 GHz 8-core Intel Core i9 processor, 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 RAM, Sequoia 15.6.1, and a UAD Apollo x4 sound card. In it I use the Apollo Monitor Correction add-on.
Right now I have my own studio, but for financial reasons I will start working from home, without the possibility to use the same sound system and sound-proofed room. Because of this I want to try to copy the sound of my current studio using Virtual Monitoring PRO, so I can continue to work in the same mixing environment that I am used to. That is why I bought Virtual Monitoring PRO (7AYV2T-******-******-******).
Question: Should I Calibrate Virtual Monitoring PRO with or without the Apollo Monitor Correction add-on activated?
When I try to calibrate Virtual Monitoring PRO according to your instructions, it does not work with the Apollo Monitor Correction add-on activated. The software crashes and I have to start over from the beginning.
Does this mean it is not possible to have the the Apollo Monitor Correction add-on activated when making the calibration of Virtual Monitoring PRO? And I assume that Virtual Monitoring PRO will not work correctly if Apollo Monitor Correction also is activated?
