Sorry, but I don’t understand what happened.
Previously, I had a setup where SoundID started automatically with the computer and on Mac it automatically selected SoundID as the audio output. Everything worked perfectly.
Now SoundID automatically selects my Apollo Twin X device, which does not work through SoundID for the Mac system audio at all. In the device list there is not even an option to select SoundID, and the sound only starts working if I manually open the SoundID app, create a new Universal Audio device inside it, and assign my headphone or speaker profile there.
It seems that you added Universal Audio integration which I personally do not need, and because of this the previous working logic is now broken. When SoundID launches, it no longer selects the correct device automatically, but instead selects the top Universal Audio device which cannot be removed.
As a result, the program only works after I go inside and manually choose everything. There is no point in keeping it in startup anymore.
I paid for functionality that used to work, and now it is broken for unclear reasons.
Is it possible to give users the option to decide whether they need this Universal Audio preset or not?
I only need my single profile to work the way it did before, nothing more.
