I use two soundcards, with my Apollo connected via ADAT. The Orion is my main soundcard, so I want that one to always be selected. Since the update, however, the Apollo has started showing up in the device list and the software keeps auto-selecting it on startup.
Is there a way to remove the UAD presets that started appearing in the top left of the Devices screen in SoundID? This was added since Sonarworks added Apollo Monitor Correction. I also don’t really understand why users would pay extra for this feature. As far as I can tell, it doesn’t offer any additional value beyond an alternative way to apply room correction, and it feels like this annoyance was introduced mainly to push users to buy software they don’t actually need.

Hey Mark, did you ever get a response or a solution to this? I'm having the same problem. I want the preset gone or at least not be the default.
Nope. Never. They’re probably hiding in disgrace after forcing this useless piece of software on us.
Classic. One can only assume they are trying to annoy us into a purchase, i've come close. I've decided to purchase the IKM Arch correction system and bail on Sonarworks altogether. I hope you get a solution soon mate.
Have you tried to remove addon on sonarworks website? Maybe it will help
Which addon are you referring to? There's no addon involved in our setup.
