Can't pass Sound Test

0

Hi everybody. New here. Spend 2 hours trying to figure out why I can't pass the Sound Test. ‘’ Reduce output gain for safety before playing test tone'' again and again… Or I am tired, or I am stoopid or something's wrong with my set up. Using Apollo X6. I hear everything. Microphone send signals. I just keep getting this same message no mather how I set the output gain… I need Help…

Solution: ( nearby a joke )   pull the window wider - on the lower right side you will find the botton: “ my sound is ok now ”  ( or something like that ) .

The standart window size won't show this cause it's too small….

Best regards, Wolly

Must shut direct monitoring off. You mustn't hear mic sound from your speakers to prevent feedback. To shut off direct monitoring on Apollo and whatever you use, mute the microphone input channel in your interface control software or turn down the input channel fader. If your device has a direct monitoring button, switch, or blend knob, set it fully to software/USB. This prevents unwanted feedback during calibration.
