Voice AI capture glitches

1

I'm having a lot of problems with captured audio glitching or complete drop-outs in small sections and words. Some voices do better than others. The reference audio is clean. The only thing is that there is some reverb baked in the original, but not soaking. It's really bad on clips where the original audio jumps up in range, and when the original audio goes from smooth to really gritty sound. I have not been able to get one single piece of usable audio yet.

I have updated Focusrite Drivers and DAW updates, and video drivers.

Also, the processed audio sometimes doesn't sync with the song and is delayed, and I have to try and manually move the clip

I'm having a similar problem. I've tried several different voices using dry clips from several different singers and all of my audio comes back as unusable fuzz. The only luck I had with getting a usable clip was I sang a new bassline for a song, put a gate on it, loaded it into VoiceAI and got back a pretty convincing upright bass, which I then put on a client song to replace a badly recorded bass.

I had high hope of being able to use this plugin for to create choirs. Looks like when the demo runs out that will be it for me.

I have also gotten glitches with this product. What's more disturbing is that there has not been any response from anyone at Sonarworks.

I also hoped to build choirs, but I don't need a choir sound throughout the song, usually only in the chorus. It seems the only way to do that would be to bounce in place for the first chorus then copy and paste the result. That would work fine until you've got a second ending to the chorus, or a different way of getting into it. I also wish they'd give a range for the singers, telling the optimal input pitch tells me nothing useful. No singer is going to sing only one pitch. I'm glad I got the Black Friday deal, but IMO Voice AI is not ready for prime time. Kinda wish I hadn't paid anything. Great job building customer loyalty SonarWorks!

Update: wow, 2.6 has fixed the majority of problems I was having.  Voices actually make it all the way through without noticeable pitch tracking errors now. Thanks Sonarworks!

This has been brought up before and I don't think there's ever been an official response. I have the same problems with captured vocals glitching in VoiceAI that are handled flawlessly in competing vocal replacement software.
