I HATE updating SoundID.
Because every time I update I lose the ability to use the virtual monitoring add-on that I have purchased. I go back and forth online trying to enable it, only to get pissed off, have to completely remove all licenses, and delete and reload all software. It makes me HATE SoundID, but I love it when it works.
There has got to be a better way.

Same here. Not only after a week the virtual monitoring is still not working. But now I can't export my preset to the Apollo. No reasons, no explanations. Just refuses to work. This software is so ridiculously unreliable!!!! And obviously there is no way to get help….
Same here. Virtual Monitoring license is still active on the device, but it does not show up in the tool. Please fix this bug!

With the SoundID Reference v5.13 update (the Virtual Monitoring PRO release update), the layout for Virtual Monitoring functionality has changed: the Virtual Monitoring section at the bottom-right corner has been removed.
Virtual Monitoring (both VM and VM PRO) is now added as a separate preset from the 'What do you want to do?' menu (previously known as the 'Select your calibration profile' menu):
To turn the Virtual Monitoring profile ON/OFF, simply switch between your regular Headphone Calibration and Virtual Monitoring presets in the Output Panel (the left sidebar).
Please try out the new workflow (test it for a few days or so), and let us know if you find it easy to switch between the presets in the Output Panel. Thank you for your feedback, very much appreciated!

For future updates, you might want to consider some kind of popup notice after the upgrade to let Virtual Monitoring licensees know that things have changed, where to find it, rather than let people get frustrated and start dis-liking the company. That would go a long way towards a better user experience for everyone.
