After updating the sound ID voice, the app asks me to go online to log in, but the app doesn't activate even when connected to my account. This is a bug. I've never had any problems. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but nothing.

Can you try a fully clean reinstall first, please:

  1. Remove the existing VoiceAI plugin instances from DAW
  2. Uninstall VoiceAI, and remove the leftover files and folders as shown here: [WIN] How to uninstall SoundID VoiceAI
  3. Reboot your computer
  4. Reinstall the latest version, download here

Hi, I followed all the instructions, but nothing changed. The plugin opens in Nuendo and asks me to log in to activate it. Once I open the browser and log in, nothing changes. Before the last update, everything worked fine.

I'm having the same problem on Windows 11 with a perpetual license and Cubase 15. I've tried the recommendations without success. Is there any word on when this problem will be resolved? Because it's impossible to work.

stesso problema anch'io su pc differenti ma stessa cosa, incomincio a pensare molto molto male perche' tutte le indicazioni dal supporto sono inutili e la cosa non sembra accadere solo a me

Nessuna soluzione, ho seguito tutti i passaggi suggeriti sia dall'assistenza che dal sito (che poi sono le stesse) senza nessun risultato. Non riesco più ad autorizzare la licenza. Questo dopo l'ultimo aggiornamento che ha sicuramente creato qualche problema. Il fatto stesso che non riguardi solo me è una risposta. Per fortuna sto usando un nuovo software appena uscito. Mi dispiace però avere la sensazione di aver buttato dei soldi. Spero risolvano.

I can see that most users in this thread have direct support request threads open, but since some of you are still getting stuck, let me elaborate on the workaround solution:

While we are working on a permanent fix for the “Connection failed” error, the solution is a manual download of the voice presets (download and replace the Assets folder) as shown here: "Connection failed" error in SoundID VoiceAI - Assets folder replacement

I can see in the ticket threads that there is some confusion regarding the file directories and locations. Please follow the article instructions exactly - use the exact file locations as shown in the article, not any other locations. If the procedure fails for any reason (still not working after the manual file replacement, or you are unable to find the correct location, or any other related issue), please take a quick video capture to demonstrate the Assets folder replacement process, and attach it to your support request, so that we can see and detect where the problem is. 

Additionally, please make sure to follow all the article instructions carefully (such as extracting the ZIP archive before the replacement, etc.). 

Also, if you see that the problem is present on more than one of your computers, it is most likely a local/network problem, not a VoiceAI problem - please review this section in the same article again: "Connection failed" error in SoundID VoiceAI - Network and antivirus

HI, issue also here, it is a shame that it was reported months ago and it is still not solved. Fora  paid software this is a real bummer.

Hello.

After logging into my profile, after 10 minutes I see this message.

 

I have internet access, but it's a bit unstable. For some reason, you're writing in the FAQ that the app will work for 10 days without internet. Maybe you're confused about 10 minutes?

I'm looking for a replacement solution, as this one is unusable. The app can crash at any time. There's also no equalizer for manually adjusting the sound to match another device's ear. The idea is interesting, but the quality is poor.

After more than 4 months and several attempts on other PCs, the problem hasn't been resolved. Sonarworks hasn't fixed the bug.
I'm considering requesting a refund and deactivating the perpetual license.
