SoundID Voice AI, processed audio should stay locked to the original audio if moved on timeline.
I would never have thought that a vst plugin would in effect create a copy of the track's audio, and then disrespect temporal position changes of the audio on the timeline. Now being shocked by this, I went back to your notes and here it is…
To maintain proper alignment of AI-processed audio:
• Avoid moving the audio content position on the track after capturing.
• The plugin relies on the original captured audio timestamps for positioning.
• Changing the position can cause misalignment of the AI replacement audio.
This ensures the processed audio stays synchronized with the original track.
BUT this is severe limitation for use in DAWs, while you said this is how it would be, can you look into this? - move the processed audio along with the audio as seen/moved in the DAW? - seems fundamental. The workaround is a real hassle, I need to re-capture the audio, then re-process the audio… after making every little tweak to the audio's position.
