Recording my voice in my DAW but want to raise it an octave with Voice AI

I have a low baritone male voice, which, when I record demos, doesn't work on a lot of occasions—particularly if I need a male tenor voice. I've experimented with loading my voice singing the part down an octave in my DAW (i.e., Logic Pro), loading it into Voice AI, using a tenor, and moving it up an octave. Unfortunately, I haven't been really happy with the result.

It may just be me and how I'm going about doing it. So, does someone have an optimal workflow for doing what I'm doing?
