I need more step by step guidance on using unison and voices

I'm already getting a lot out of SoundID VoiceAI but I need more step by step guidance on how to use the unison feature and multiple voices. The one seems to duplicate the other so I'm not sure whether I should have multiple tracks in Reaper or whether I can achieve the unison in only one track. I have seen one Sonarworks video on unison but I'm still confused.
