After the 15.6 upgrade many of my program extensions were blocked. I was told to boot into recovery mode and change the security policy. I did that and enabled extensions for qualified developers.
Rebooted and SoundID says “Click here to add a new output”. Login security doesn't show that any extensions need to be enabled.
How do I get my old presets back? They took weeks to create.
Resolved. The outputs didn't show as my ADI-2 DAC for some reason wasn't recognized as a sound device. Cycled the power and now the presets are seen.
