I just bought VoiceAI perpetual license version yesterday (June 5, 2025). latest version. Downloaded and installed it, activated the license on the website in my account. Launched my DAW (MOTU Digital Performer). Placed Voice AI on a vocal track I recorded. Selected a voice preset I liked. Pressed the “Capture” button to change it to “Armed”. Started playback.
“Armed” changed back immediately to “Capture” and nothing was captured. The plugin simply isn't working.
I checked my Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plugins?HAL folder and the Sound ID Voice AI driver is NOT there. I've re-installed the VoiceAi software multiple times. No joy. I don't see the driver. I don't know how to get it to appear.
Can anyone help?

Ok, update. If you are using Digital Performer..launch the plugin on an insert, open its UI, in the upper right-hand corner there is a DP drop-down menu, open that, select “Run open instances of this plugin in real-time”. VoiceID then works just fine.
I have sent a note to tech support about adding this to their FAQ section.
