I've been using the voice AI demo and bought the perpetual. I have to say, this opens up an entire world for me as an amateur musician. My own vocals have are ok when it comes to articulation, pitch control etc, but I've never been happy with the tonality. Voice AI is like having your vocal chords reshaped.
I think it's important to note that combining the qualities of voice AI with the power of melodyne really fuels the rocket. There's still some art needed to get the most out of VoiceAI, but I'm enjoying the ride.
I'm having a blast. Thanks!

I am happy for you, I wish I was having fun but for the life of me I can not figure out how to add this plugin to the Daw I have tried everything I dont know what I am missing. This company offers no support no direction on how to add it to the DAW and use on a vocal track they skip over this part in the installation instructions. Nothing on YouTube showing you how to do this. Nothing on Google. They have noone to talk with for support except these community comments which you know not evry one is going to help you. I really want this app but if I can not use it I am going to have to call my bank and cancel. It's sad but they just don't support their product. I want to use this app but have to cal lmy bank to cancel.
If you can be more specific, e.g, what steps you took, how far you got, I will try to help. Also do you have the pay-as-you-go (token) version or the perpetual version? The two have some differences. I bought the perpetual. If you got the perpetual version there should be a download manager that popus up. If you have the space, select INSTALL ALL and go have a cup of coffee. Maybe a few cups. It will take a while. Fortunately, its a one time deal to do this.
There are indeed some nuances to achieve best results but the basic steps are:
(Assuming your soundID is activated - to me that was the most confusing part!)
1. Place sound ID in a vocal only track. I find for best results, if you have multiple effects (such as reverb, compression) put SoundID VoiceAI first above the other effects.
2. select the voice you are interested in in soundid
3. press capture. I then play the track in my daw. As it plays, you will still hear your original vocal.
(TIP: starting off, just do a few seconds of vocals, like 10 seconds, so you can quickly try different things.)
4. As soon as you stop playback on your daw, soundID will do a few girations, typically 10-20 seconds. The main button will turn white indicating you can click it to start the “real” audio processing. Depending on your computer and other factors, it might take a minute to process. (That's why starting with practicing only for a few seconds really helps).
5. When it is done it will have a green “Audio processing complete!” next to it. Then simply play your daw to hear the new voice.
Note that if you for some reason you edit the audio clip, you will no longer hear the new vocal. You must reprocess it. So try to do all clip edits before you fully add the new voice.
Tip: I “freeze” my audio track as soon as I am happy with it. (Other DAWS may call it something else). THat locks everything in.
My DAW is Sonar.
It has worked wonderfully on it, so far.
I'm no expert, but if I can be of any further assist, post.
