I bought the sounded vocal ai plugin and I can not get it to work in my Daw…nothing on YouTube,,,nothing on this site…they don't offer customer service. I am thinking of calling my bank and cancelling the transaction. I really want this but no one at this company is here to help.

Hello, may I ask what exactly your problem is with Voice AI? Is it not installing or loading in your DAW? Which system, Windows or Mac?

I'm not a support person, but maybe we can get some progress this way.

Regards

Don't mind my typing I need glasses. My issue is I cannot figure out how to get the plugin to work in the DAW. I am opening The manger and it gives me errors. Maybe it's me and I do not know how to add a plugin into Sonar x1 I been working on this for days and have paid them for the app. If someone that uses this could just tell me how to install the plugin in the Daw I would be all set.  I install the app and then it does install you can see it in program files I click on the icon and it brings me to manager then I get errors, and it will not connect. Am I the only one? I am going to have to call the bank and cancel the order soon I don't want to do that but if you can't use it it is worthless. I really want this app to work so any help I would appreciate it.

Thank you gfor your time

Anthony

Okay, if I understand you correctly, the installation worked. And the plug-in also appears in your DAW's plug-in manager, right?

How do you proceed? I assume you have a recorded vocal track in your DAW. You then need to load the plug-in into the insert slot of this audio recording (i.e., your vocal track). As I said, as an insert FX. Do you even get that far?

This is where maybe I just don't know how to add the plugin into the Daw. I can not seem to find info anywhere including cakewalk stating the process of adding the plugin to the Daw. Also when I click on the manager for SoundId Vocal  the is installed in program files it opens then says error. Do I need the manager to use the plugin? I do not know this app yet and what to expect from the plugin during installation.

It's amazing there isn't a YouTube vid or something on the web showing you how to add this app to your Daw I can not find directions anywhere. SoundId skips over the directions of how to add it to your Daw in their installation instructions in their website. All they say is add the plugin to your vocal track but how do you do this when there is no plugin in the Daw?

I can not ad the plugin to my Daw AFTER INSTALLATION and I can find nothing on the web from sonar or SoundID Vocal on how to add the plugin. I don't think I can  access manager once I download the app when I click on it in program files. Might be the problem.

Thanks

You don't need a manager to add the plug-in to your DAW. There's also no standalone version. This plug-in is loaded into an insert channel of your audio track with vocals (i.e., in Cubase). This means it's an effects plug-in.

You need to find Sonarworks under your insert effects in your DAW and then load Voice ID into the insert of your vocal track. Of course, adding it may be slightly different in your DAW than in Cubase, but basically, you need to find it in your VST effects in your DAW and then simply load it.

Similar to this video.

Anthony DeBoise thanks for posting!

Just to clarify before we proceed, this is a Community Support page, and don't always have the capacity to monitor all posts and comments here. Of course, we offer direct support, so if you need to get in touch, simply click on the ‘Submit a request’ button, which is available under any support article. If you still have trouble finding it, please see here, as already pointed out by various other users in the duplicate posts and comments you've added: How to contact Sonarworks Support – Sonarworks Support.

We have plenty of support content on installing, setting up, and using SoundID VoiceAI too; here are some great articles to start with:

As explained in the first article above (the setup guide), there are no additional installation steps. Simply install VoiceAI (download here), activate, and you'll be good to go. There are no other installation steps required.

If you are still getting stuck when adding the plugin in your DAW, can you please share some visuals? The process is the same as adding any other plugin to your DAW: you simply load it on the channel strip of your DAW, just like you do with any other plugins. Plese send some screesnhots or video captures to show where exactly you are getting stuck in your DAW. Thank you!
