Universal Audio Apollo Monitor Control ( AMC )

0

Hello, I was informed by Universal Audio Support that if I am utilizing the Apollo Monitor Control feature, the Sound ID Reference application will not be running in the background. Consequently, all processing will be delegated to the DSP on my Apollo interface. However, I have observed that my Sound ID Reference Application launches upon the startup of my Macbook, which I have consistently found inconvenient, particularly when I was utilizing the Adam A7V, which incorporated Sound ID integration. This prompted me to acquire the Apollo x6 Gen 2. Could you please advise me on any potential solutions to rectify this issue, preventing the Sound ID Application from recurring during the startup sequence of my MacBook? I would be grateful for any assistance you can provide.

I have a similar setup with an X16 (1st Gen). While the SoundID Reference launches at startup, it is not double affecting the monitor output as long as the UAD Console Monitor has the profile applied. Feel free to quit the application. If it's annoying, you can turn off the “Launch at startup preference.” It won't affect the Apollo monitoring.
