SoundID VoiceAI hangs at 79% of processing stage

I was thinking that I would be able to contact customer support directly but that does not appear to be possible so here we go…

I've noticed this issue with the trial version as well. Sometimes you start processing a voice and it hangs at 79%. At the moment I am processing an 8 second audio clip for 25 minutes now and it is still at 79%. If I cancel the notice says that if I cancel now the tokens will still be subtracted from my account. I guess I will have to wait until it's done then whenever that may be.

I've checked in the cache folder and the processed audio isn't there, so it's not done yet.

This happened a few times during the trial, so I guess it's tokens down the drain now that I bought tokens.

Any fix, or best use for this not to happen?

I inserted VoiceAI as an item FX in Reaper instead of on a track insert. Transferred 8 seconds of audio. +12 with Simon's voice and started processing. 25 minutes later…

Any ideas?

Same exact issue here. Hanging at 79% in Ableton.

Hi Matthew,

I contacted support (back and forth) and they suggested I update to the latest version.

The last few times I used VoiceAI, it pushed through 79% - not to imply that the problem is gone since it only occurred at times.

If it keeps on happening with you, contact support.

I will also keep an eye on it and contact them if need be.

The plugin ask for licens center when open all the time and I need to login on homepage.

And the plugin hang here to.

I hate the pluggin already.

I’m running into a similar issue. When I try to process a very short phrase (less than 2 seconds), it hangs at 99% and never finishes.

My setup:

  • Mac Studio 2025 M4 Max / macOS Sequoia 15.4.1
  • Pro Tools 2025.6 and Studio One 7 (latest version)

Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this?

Yes - it works on my system now. I had the demo version installed first. Then once I bought it I was having the same problems as you. I had to go to Application Support on my mac - same system as you, but I'm running Cubase - delete the VoiceID folder and reinstall it. Then it worked.
