How many computers can I install on?

I know this question has been asked before but I have searched the FAQs and found three different answers.  One FAQ says 4 computers, another says 3, and a third says only one.

I have my main workstation, my virtual instrument, and my laptop for remote field recording.  Can I install SoundID Reference on only one of all three machines? 

I only use headphones on my laptop so I guess I could purchase SoundID reference for headphones for that one.

Please give me a definitive answer for a purchase of today's (6 Feb 2025) SoundID Reference.
