Adding to the chorus here — after mixing with the original 1990s and the Sonarworks profile I can’t go back! Got the mkII version and would love the profile.
Oh my Gosh! Now i know why this Profile sounds so crap. I was wondering which person created that profile for the DT 1990. It is a profile for the MK1 and the MK2 isnt there. I filled that form and i hope they will make a profile soon!
We haven't had a chance to calibrate DT 1990 MK II model for the average profile yet, but we will likely get to it at some point in the future (although, we cannot make any promises for when exactly).

Exactly! I think a lot More people have the new MK2 Edition instead of creating Profiles for Other headphones which Are Maybe Not that popular Like the DT1990 MK2.
I think a lot of people Are Having This headphones But They dont Know to Fill out that Form or Maybe People Are working With the MK1 Profile And guess its the Right one.

I fully agree with the others here – these headphones are among the most popular for mixing and mastering, and it would be great to see them supported soon.
I've been waiting since they've come out and still nothing. Seems weird not to update a fairly popular model. According to Chatgpt, they haven't added any new headphones for a while now (although this could be wrong) :)
I offered to submit my MK2’s to be measured in order to potentially get the profile out quicker. They passed on my offer, and gave the usual “these can’t be prioritized right now, but will likely be added in the future” response. They also mentioned individual calibration might be coming back..
I’m really disappointed too. We keep receiving emails every few days about how amazing your software is, but as customers who paid a lot of money for both the headphones and the software, we definitely expected better support — especially for one of the best studio headphones out there.
If there’s no real solution coming soon, I might end up uninstalling the software as well.

It’s not going to happen! They are releasing virtual monitoring pro with in-ear binaural measurement microphone (for headphones). I guess their next step is for people to get the new product and make their headphones profile themselves. As much as I would have like a profile on this headphone, I like the idea of monitoring pro and will get it, as every headphone from the same brand is slightly different and you will have the possibility to get simulations from big studios in your personal headphones.
They kept saying they will work on the profile at some point and now if that's what gonna happen (no profile) then we need to make this loud and clear to all soundID users on whats going on.

It's end of October now and still nothing for MKII. I am uninstalling this software.

Less hopeful every day, but still keeping my fingers crossed. Sadly they seem more concerned about AI at the moment.

If what Nick says is true, that is a good and reasonable alternative. Better even; despite having to pay for a new measurement mic.
