SOLVED
While I had purchased and installed the UA Apollo Monitor Correction Add-On, I had also purchased the SoundID Reference software but failed to see the Activation Key in the microphone box. With that software license activated, everything's working fine. FWIW, an error message from the Measurement app saying a license key is still needed would be a welcome addition.
I purchased the Apollo Monitor Correction Add-on when I purchased my UA Apollo X8 earlier this month.
I have SoundID Reference version 5.12.1 installed. I'm on Windows 11, 23H2. Windows and Apollo sample rates are both set to 48kHz.
I launch SoundID Reference and select “Create a new speaker profile”, the SoundID Reference Measure splashscreen displays for a second or two then disappears and SoundID Reference Measure doesn't open.
I tried launching the WASAPI Mode version with the same result.
I tried launching the Measurement apps manually using Run As Administrator. Same results.
I followed instructions on the Sonarworks website to correct this error and I removed the config file, the license and user .json files, and reactivated my software. Same results.
Nothing seems to work.
Any thoughts?
