No ASIO output at all

I'm unable to create an ASIO output on SoundID Reference 5.12.1.8 standalone app, please advise.

Procedure: select “add new output”, device type: “ASIO”, select “Realtek ASIO”

Result: “There was an error opening the audio hardware. Failed to open output device. Please check if the device is connected and try again.”

Procedure: select “add new output”, device type: “WASAPI”, select “(Speakers Realtek(R) Audio)”

Result: Test signal plays correctly in speakers.

Procedure: select “add new output”, device type: “ASIO”, select “ASIO Fireface USB”

Result: With either Windows to ASIO, or ASIO to ASIO: No test signal on any output
