My Sound ID Refercne license has been working fine since I installed it and have been running in with my UAD Apollo x16 for a few weeks. I Purchased and activated the full lisence after getting it set up during the trail period.
The trail has now expired and I was prompted to re activate.
I click “Activate” in the Sound ID Reference app which opens my account in the web browser. Where I then click “Activate this device” that brings a popup box to open the Sound ID reference application, I click open and the app opens momentary and then jumps back to the web browser opening a new tab. and the loop just goes around and around without activating this device!
I've tried re installing everything after completely delating all Sound ID related content on my computer, this does not resolve the issue.
Anyone else encountered this browser to app infinite loop?

I can't use it because it can't be solved.
Yup, same here. I did this for me on install (which was it's own major headache), and worked after I switched HOW I log in from email to google. Now it's not working again, but I'll try changing the login type again. Super frustrating.
I've tried removing my existing license, and starting new accounts using different log in methods, still not working.
SOLVED…
It was unclear from the start, but you need to buy BOTH the Sound DI Reference for Headphones and Speakers AND the UAD add-on… I cancelled & got a refund as it is too expensive for now.
