Mac: Standalone app still starting at login but shouldn't as its deactivated

Problem:
In preferences of the standalone app the “autostart at statup” is disabled.
Yet it automatically starts after reboot and login.

How can i disable this as i just want to use it in my DAW as a plugin not systemwide?

Using Uaudio Apollo with Macos 14.7.1 and newest Sound ID Reference.

Experiencing the same issue.

SoundID 5.12.1.8, “Launch on startup” is set to off and still launches at startup. (OS 15.1.1)
I uninstalled, went back to 5.9.2.5, and it works as expected.

same with me. it's autostarting although it's not supposed to. I didn't allowed it to. Why? How do I prevent it from starting?

Still having the issue with the latest update 5.12.1.14, rolling back to 5.9.2.5 is the only way I've been able to stop it from launching at startup.

Just tried 5.12.1.36, same issue, “Launch on startup” is set to off,  still launches at startup

same with current version on Mac with Apollo Integration.

I don‘t run the Mac Book Pro host on my apollos and don‘t need „systemwide“ integration - only for Headphone outputs when connected my Apollo.

But it seems impossible to disalbe the start and error hangin soundID when not connected to Apollos.

Hi guys, thanks for posting and commenting!

As Niels Dettenbach already mentioned, the startup launch is due to the Integration Mode being present (a compatible Apollo X device connected). See a solution workaround instructions here: Unwarranted startup launch for SoundID Reference

Note that using the previous 5.12.0.50 version (as shown in the article above) is a temporary solution only - we are working on a permanent solution for this together with UA. an update will come from the UAD Console sise later this summer, which will implement less aggressive launch prompts for the SoundID Reference app from Console.

Thank you Kārlis Stenders,

I searched a few different times and did not see that support article, perhaps I was not using the correct verbiage.

I followed the uninstall procedure, and reinstalled 5.12.0.50, so far it appears to be working correctly with no “Unwarranted startup launch”
