Educational license on a device?

If I have an educational license and I want to change the computer, not to use it on both computers at the same time, but to remove the software from where it was initially installed and now use it on a new computer (it would only be used on one device at a time). Would that be possible, or would the educational license remain forever anchored to the device where it was initially installed? Thanks
