SoundID Reference does not work after waking Mac Studio

Hi.
I couldn't find a solution in the help section, so I decided to start this thread.

Well, after putting the computer to sleep for the night and waking it up, SoundID Reference stops working. It works normally as a plug-in for FL Studio but does not work as a system application. There is simply no sound. The worst thing is that it doesn't always happen. Sometimes I wake up the computer and everything is OK, and sometimes it doesn't work. The sound from Tidal doesn't work, in which I have SoundID selected… the sound from Safari doesn't work… system sounds too.
I didn't notice any pattern in this behavior. Turning the application off and on does not help. I have to reset the computer and then everything works fine. 

Can you help in any way?
What can I check? Where to look for the cause?

Mac Studio M2 Max + Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 3rd Generation + Presonus ErisStudio 4.

Bump. 

100% exactly the same issue as you described.

Macbook Pro M3 Max 2024 OS 15.1.1 (Sequioa).

Also want to add that quitting / relaunching soundID or restarting the audio engine does not work. Only a computer restart works.

And today it's the same again. Third time this week. This is so irritating. 
Hey Sonarworks, can you check and somehow solve this problem?
Can I help with this somehow? Send some diagnostics, some information, anything?

Same problem, I thought it got fixed with the last update but it came back. Not sure how to deal with it.

yeah weird, they couldn't help me also in the support.

by the time I found a temporary solution if you don't want to restart your computer, you can just restart the core audio driver and then it works again.

Just paste this into the Terminal: "sudo killall coreaudiod"

I used activity monitor to restart coreaudio, it works too. Then, isn't the problem on the M1/2 Apple chip side rather than with soundid ? I do notice glitches with the Logicpro playback, even with the mac speakers…

There have been a few updates since I've been using SoundID. None of them have solved this problem. It's hard to say if anyone from Support even reads this forum and is interested in this topic. I wouldn't count on it. All that remains is to use the solutions given above.

mariusbienius initially I thought it was due to the incompatibility of soundid with sequoia but I just noticed their latest update is compatible with sequoia already. I’m really disappointed.

I am also disappointed. I would have expected at least a simple, laconic response: 'Thanks for describing the problem, we'll look into it and let you know'.

Ive also had the same issue since upgrading from the existing Reference software. Infuriating. Im going to forward this threat to their support team. Maybe they will take a look.

Thank you Stefan. Confirming that the Terminal command "sudo killall coreaudiod" works.

I was able to fix this issue via a clean uninstall / reinstall. Including manually deleting user data profile and plugins. Takes 5 minutes.

Before uninstalling, make sure to manually save a backup of any custom room measurement files so you can import the measurement file again after the reinstall.

I did a complete uninstall/reinstall as per instructions and it seems to be working ok. I just had to kill coreaudiod once since then.

I'm experiencing this same problem. Incredibly frustrating! I tried doing the clean uninstall / reinstall suggested by Min Wang , but I'm still having no luck. I hit up customer support, but I'm still awaiting a response. Anybody have any updates on the issue?

Doesnt bode well that I have come across this old thread..has anyone got a fix yet..three years on haha im not hopeful. I also have a Scarlett interface, is it a SoundID problem or an interface problem?

I bought a new pari of Adam A4V which has soundID integrated so I don't need to run the SoundID app anymore.
