Does the Apollo X integration really work ?

Not planned

Hi,

I recently bought the Apollo X integration  for SoundID Reference.

I tested that in several ways :

1 - the standard way, ie my computer's main soundcard is the Apollo using the integration

2 - I listen to a DAT player thru the spdif input of the Apollo using the integration

3 - I used another soundcard with SoundID Reference as a plugin

In the cases #1 & 2, I made test with the SoundID activated on the apollo or not : no difference, like if the integration did not work.

In the third case, when using SoundID as a plugin, everything works as usual.

When using the Apollo integration, I use the “digital mirror” option of the Apollo, because I feed digital monitors that are digitally connected to the spdif output of the apollo.

I think something is going wrong, but I don't what and at which stage neither.

Could the technical SonarWorks team could help me ?

Thank you for reading me.

BR,

Claude

Claude Cabrimol Dustin Delage Jonas Tatit, that's correct - Apollo Monitor Correction is not applied to Apollo ALT monitor outputs, digital mirror outputs, cues, or cue mirrors.

If you wish to see some more advanced routing options for it in Console, you must reach out to Universal Audio with the feature request (this is not Sonarworks territory; the routing capability in Console can only be addressed by UA). To do this, you can either use the ‘Feedback’ button in UA Connect/UAD Console apps, or reach out to UA support here: https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us

same problem here…

Unfortunately, UAD clearly says that digital mirror does not copy the Apollo integration thru Spdif. The sonarworks calibration only works on the analog outputs….

Same here, it's not applying to the digital mirror output
