2021 vs. 2024 Measurement Mic

Hi!
I just purchased a Sonarworks SoundID Bundle with the Measurement Mic via Amazon, and it seems like I received the 2021 microphone model. Is the 2024 model a step up in terms of accuracy or was it just updated because of manufacturing reasons? And if there's a benefit, why is the 2021 still being sold?
