Noise during playback

Noise occurs when using YouTube or Daw.
If you turn off the os software or turn off the daw plug-in, the noise goes away.

Can you elaborate on the issue, please? Here are a few important things that should be clarified first:

  • Are you using Windows or macOS?
  • If web playback is affected (Youtube), then I'm assuming the issue is with the SoundID Reference standalone app?
  • If DAW is also affected, I'm assuming you are using the SoundID Reference standalone app as your DAW output (instead of using the plugin format)?
  • If you are on Windows, which driver type are you using, and are all driver types affected? There are four different driver types available for the standalone app on Windows, see here: [WIN] Audio driver types in the standalone app
  • Does the issue take place with any sample rate and buffer size settings, or with a specific combination?
  • What is the audio interface you are using?
