Measuring for interface without mic phantom power

Hello,

Apologies if its silly question but is it OK to perform measures on say Focusrite and then applying profile when swapping audio interfaces? I usually work on Mashine Mk3 which I'm also using as my audio interface. It's got microphone input but no phantom power so I borrowed a focusrite to perform the measurements but now I'm second guessing myself if the measurment profile is transferrable between interfaces as long as speakers and all other setup is the same…

Thanks,

Isabella

Isabella Pakulska yes, that's completely fine - you can easily measure the speakers using your Focusrite, and then switch back to using a different device to output to the speakers for calibrated playback.
