Hi all,
I've been using Sonarworks for almost a year now and I love it, the only issue I have not been able to resolve are clicks and pops I get when using sound outside of my DAW for example - youtube, spotify or listening to music on audio apps.
I have contacted support several times and the only thing that kind of seemed to fix it was setting my drivers to WASAPI.
However the crackles and pops still come back every other day and the only way I can fix it, is by either restarting my PC or switching Sonarworks off on my control panel.
Does anyone maybe have a fix or solution for this issue??
I don't want to stop using Sonarworks, but this problem is driving me crazy.

Daniel Lobel have you also tried the APO driver mode? APO is basically an insert on the Windows Audio Engine (similar to how the plugin format is hosted in DAW), so it is exempt from any such issues. Try it shown here: [WIN] Windows audio device insert (APO)

I am indeed using APO driver mode - its the only thing that helped it from being crackly all the time. Now the crackles come even with that driver.
I don't know what else could be causing it - but its definitely only when SOnarworks is activated. It never happens on my DAW only when using my Windows computer regularly.
Any other ideas on what i should be looking at?
Daniel Lobel can you check if the APO driver hasn't reset to the Virtual Windows audio driver by any chance? This can sometimes happen if the APO can't applied and can be missed.
