My Cubase 13 Pro can't find the VST3 SoundIDVoiceAI

0

Hello,
I used version 1.4 of SoundIDVoiceAI for several weeks and everything worked perfectly (I still have 63800 tokens left).
I uninstalled this version to be able to install version 2.0 and since then, when I open Cubase 13 Pro, I can't find the plugin, or even the Sonarworks folder that appeared before.
However, when I check in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 folder, the Sonarworks subfolder is there, with the VST3 inside.
I uninstalled, removing all the Sonarworks folders (Program, C:\Users\AppData\Roaming,...) and reinstalled several times and it doesn't work.
Has anyone had this problem? And if so, is there a solution?
Thanks in advance.

Hi breac.gil,

I myself also have Cubse 13 Pro (version 13.0.41) and have just installed and started the hotfix version 2.01 of Voice AI as well as a newer update 2.0.1.5334. For me, Vocie AI starts as normal as before as VST 3. Everything is also in my Common Files folder.

This probably won't be of much use to you right now, but just as feedback for you that it loads as vst3 for me under Windows 10.

Hi Joerg,
Thanks for the feedback. I know other Cubase 13 Pro owners for whom SoundIDVoiceAI 2.0 works perfectly. That's why I'm trying to understand why it doesn't work for me.

Alain Van Den Meersschaut thanks for posting! Can you double-check a few basic things, please:

  1. Reinstall again, making sure everything is removed first as shown here: [WIN] How to uninstall SoundID VoiceAI
  2. Go to the Plugin Manager in Cubase and check if the plugin is not blacklisted for any reason, initiate a rescan
  3. Check if the correct plugin scan locations are assigned too (maybe the regular plugin locations are mixed up with the Program Files\Steinberg locations)

Let us know if this makes any difference and we'll proceed from there. Thank you!

Hi Kārlis and thanks for your help,

As stated in my request, I have already done all these procedures several times, removing what needs to be removed and even more (I checked other folders and even the "regedit" file). The VST plugin is correctly installed, in the right directory, with the other VSTs and that is why I do not understand why Cubase does not find it.

And the plugin is not in the blacklist either, but the two files onnxruntime.dll and onnxruntime_providers_shared.dll are. But, according to someone who has the SoundIDVoiceAI plugin working, these two dlls are also in his blacklist.
I really do not understand what is wrong.

Alain Van Den Meersschaut thanks for double-checking, sorry to hear it is still missing!

I have created a support request on your behalf, let's have a closer look at the issue.
