As shown in the image below, you can see that there are 2 Reference 4 processes running.
But no sound is being processed at the moment.
However, these processes continue to consume a lot of CPU, reaching 6% to 10%.
How can I solve this?

It is normal for Reference 4 Systemwide to take up CPU resources even if there is no audio playback in progress (the same applies to the SoundID Reference standalone app too).
The driver process is constantly running as long as the application is open. This is to ensure a smooth output operation and avoid any lags, jumps, or other interruptions during playback (even if there is no audio being played at the moment, and even if the Calibration button is turned Off). If the driver was shut down every time there is no playback present, it would result in chaotic output device behavior, audio jumps/lags, and audio sync issues. The only way to ensure smooth playback with no interruptions is to have running all the time while the app is open, so that no audio lags or output device switches are happening when starting/pausing playback.
