Hi Guys,
I have a two part question. Firstly, I'm sending an analogue feed from a DJ mixer to channels one and two on a Focusrite Clarett 4Pre, but I'm getting no signal inside of SoundID Reference. Is it possible to for it to process this signal or does the application only process software signals from an internal source on MAC or software application.
Secondly, if this is possible, is there a way of getting the processed SoundID Reference output into OBS? SoundID Reference is not available as an audio capture source.
Thanks Dean

Dean de Tongre the SoundID Reference standalone app is an output device. It applies processing on the operating system audio engine output. If you wish to calibrate your input signal, it would require you to feed that signal into the operating system audio engine, so that you can output it again (and apply calibration on the output). On macOS, this might be possible using Loopback, or other third-party virtual routing software.
Using your DAW for this is probably a simpler solution - assign your 1&2 channels as DAW input, and you can then apply the SoundID Reference DAW plugin on the project.
For the OBS question - the answer is the same as above (use a third-party virtual routing solution).
