Bluetooth (Sony WH-1000XM4) issue with SoundID Reference desktop latest release (5.11.0.19) on Mac

Hi! I just upgraded to SoundID Reference desktop 5.11.0.19 and am experiencing issues with my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. I had no issues with the previous version.

I am able to hear sound but it's clipped every half second or so, like a stutter. There's also a delay in pressing play and pause and hearing sound.

I've tried restarting the playback engine, adjusting the sample rate, removing and adding the headphones again, and turning off and on everything (headphones, computer).

The headphones work fine without SoundID Reference running. I'm on a M2 pro macbook running Ventura 13.3.

Any troubleshooting tips or help? Is there any way to revert back to the previous version of SoundID Reference desktop?

Fixed! The solution was to uninstall and reinstall SoundID reference. These were the steps given to me by support:

  1. Back up your speaker profiles: Where can I find my speaker profile?
  2. Uninstall SoundID Reference: How to uninstall SoundID Reference (Mac)? (make sure to follow all of the steps as described in the guide)
  3. Run the installer for SoundID Reference again and install it (https://www.sonarworks.com/soundid-reference/download
  4. Launch the app, add your output device and check whether it makes any difference
