Hi guys,
I just updated about a week ago to SoundID from Reference 4. When I start the computer, Systemwide opens on login and looks like it's working, but then if I play anything from the computer: browser audio, Spotify app, local files, etc. there is no sound.
I went to the device settings and played the test sound and I'm getting the test sound just fine. I then try to restart the playback engine, but that doesn't work either.
The only thing that solves it is a full restart of the machine.
I'm running:
* Macbook Pro (16", 2021) - M1 Max, 64gb memory, 8TB storage
* macOS 12.3 Monterey
* SoundID Systemwide 5.9.0.37
Thank you in advance!

Michael Badal the fix for this driver issue is now available in the latest 5.9.1.2 Beta release. Let us know if there are any issues after installing: SoundID Reference Beta software releases
Also, quitting the driver does not fix the issue either. I read that in a different post.
Oh yay, today the restarting of the computer isn't fixing the problem. :)
I don't know guys. People have to work and it sounds like (at least from the forum) that something broke a long time ago and hasn't been fixed. What's going on?
Did some more digging and now have these logs for you. The driver keeps disappearing apparently and I didn't realize it. So it turns out my "restart" basically would restart and my local audio would just be playing through the interface directly and wasn't passing through SoundID at all.
The plugins are working fine though.
Hi, thanks for your post, sorry to hear that there are some issues encountered!
I see you have submitted a support request to our team with more details and we'll look further into it.
There is a known issue with the missing driver on macOS - this is still being worked on by our developer team. For workaround suggestions, please see our guide here: [SoundID Reference missing from Mac sound output [MAC] - issue resolved, article removed]
