Hi Denis Kedrinskiy, thanks for your post!

Could you please check whether editing the hosts file resolves this issue? See our guide here: Editing the Hosts File

Let us know how it goes!

Hey Zane, thanks for your reply, issue solved - it was some records in the hosts file blocking sonarworks services.

  1. clear “hosts” file records related to Sonarworks if you have used cracked versions for test, usually these versions ban Sonarworks online services in that file…
  2. disable vpn if you're using any
  3. try using vpn's with countries that is working with Sonarworks
  4. if you're on Windows install NetLimiter software and check what web-services Sonarworks installation app is trying to connect (NetLimiter has connection history per app) - try to ping/traceroute these services to see if they are reachable
  5. request Sonarworks to add extended statistics/logging to their installer to see what exactly step it is stucked because that is strange when software can stuck for 3+ hours telling you nothing and pretend it is busy on something.

Zakary Waxman, in 99% of all cases, the answer is exactly what Denis Kedrinskiy pointed out (the hosts file).

To fix it, follow the instructions here: Editing the Hosts File
