We have implemented a back-up mechanism with SoundID Reference v5.7.3. which will store a back up of your speaker profile and configuration data in case this same or a similar issue is encountered. A prompt in the app regarding restoring settings should then appear if an issue did occur.
I have just had this happen to me - all knowledge of any previous usage has seemingly gone.
On startup of the app (at login) I was asked to sign into my account (not had that before). When I did that I had no presets saved at all.
I have looked around in the file system and there is nothing in the ~/Library/Application Support/Sonarworks folder.
What happened? This is pretty wild for an app to reset itself in this way. The comment above refers to there being a 'back-up mechanism' since v5.7.3 but I can't find any reference to that anywhere in my app (v5.9.0.37).
Unfortunately, it seems that if this issue is encountered, the backup folder may also disappear. I will open up a support request on your behalf, so we can gather some additional information and link your ticket to the development task on our end.
Hi goldstar002, sorry to hear you've encountered this issue as well.
I can recommend checking out our support article on looking for the profiles or restoring them via Time Machine: [MAC] Settings lost and missing speaker profiles - [issue fixed]. However, if they are not found and can't be restored, I'm afraid there aren't any other backups kept of the profiles (unless the user themselves have saved the profiles in another folder or uploaded to a cloud storage or similar).
I will also open up a support request on your behalf, so that we can link your case to the development report we have open for this issue.
Same happened to me. Where are my presets and my measures for 3 speaker systems? I also have problems with my DAW Logic. There is some feedback now … Do you have an idea what it could be?
As for the feedback issue in Logic - you could double-check whether your output and input devices are set up correctly in Logic Pro's Audio Settings. Perhaps there still is a track armed or has input monitoring turned on.

Hi Corentin Chantrelle, thanks for your post, sorry for encountering this issue!
We've assisted with looking into this via a chat, but just in case, it seems that the missing speaker profiles issue was encountered here: [MAC] Missing speaker profiles: "File not found".

Just had this exact issue happen as well. Any updates? I restarted my Mac and the speaker/headphone profiles were gone, no back up to be found.

Hi Thomas Lang, thanks for reaching out, sorry to hear about this.
I can recommend checking out our support article for some tips for double-checking whether the profiles are still present or restoring them via Time Machine: [MAC] Settings lost and missing speaker profiles - [issue fixed].
