Hi,
Thanks for your post, sorry to hear you are encountering some trouble!
Could you please let me know what language you are using in Logic Pro? Are you on a M-series machine by any chance as well? Was this issue present with the previous Logic Pro or SoundID Reference versions?
Thanks in advance for the details you provide!
Best regards,
Zane
Same problem here! It always crashes when opening Logic Pro X.
SoundID Reference Version: 5.7.2
Logic Version: 10.7.9 (it happened on previous versions as well)
MacOS Ventura 13.4.1
MacBook Pro 16" Apple Silicon M1 Max
Logic Pro X Language: German
This problem didn't exist a few months ago on the same machine.
My logic is in Spanish. and it happens on the two machines I have.
No any M-Series machines. Only a native Komplete kontrol s46 connected and x32 at sound card.
Hi,
Thanks for your replies!
It looks like there may be an issue with the SoundID Reference standalone app crashing when launching Logic Pro recent versions if the language is not set to English. I'll open up support requests on your behalf, so we can gather some additional details and also link your case to the development task.
If anyone else is encountering this problem, please don't hesitate to send in a support ticket, so our team can link your case: Submit a request
