also, I can hit the speaker test button and I get the 'left - right' coming through my speakers, just nothing from system

yeah, still not working here.... did a full uninstall and installed version 5.8.0.231 on Mac. wonder how Mark Watson snagged .235??

yes, systemwide is useless at this point. I would suggest AT LEAST releasing the last beta as the main release then working from there
