It's the curse of us all, even using Reference 4 the mixes can be vastly different when played on a car stereo.
It would be awesome if Sonarworks could come up with a few different car stereo target curves. I know every car and stereo system is different, but measuring the stock stereo systems in several common car models seems like an achievable, and sustainable goal.

Hi Sean,
Sure, we can try to average some car models and come up with a target curve (in fact we have plans for implementing more different target curves), but it's not going to be as accurate as we'd like.
Furthermore, the obvious issue here is that the mix will only sound good in the car and way off everywhere else, which sounds like a weak goal for us to set. The solution: a full-scale consumer-oriented car speaker system calibration! The project is in the early stages only, but it's definitely one of our long-term plans. Many thanks!
